The motor has an internal cooling system with two fans. It even has a flywheel on the side that minimizes vibrations and creates a very smooth ride. The 4.0 HP motor allows the treadmill to go from 0.5 to 12 MPH. The console has a set of buttons that allow you to change the speed gradually and one more set that allows you to quickly cycle through different speed settings. The motor does not generate a lot of noise, but the faster you go the more noise you will create, as is the case with most treadmills. The console has a USB port that allows you to connect your device or speakers to it, or you can connect a screen to view your progress on a larger monitor. You can change the unit system from imperial to metric. You can activate a function that breaks the distance into 400-meter race tracks, and then you can see how much laps you've finished when you stop running. The console can be connected to a Bluetooth heart rate strap, but the treadmill does not come with one. The front bar of the treadmill has built-in heart rate sensors, so if you don't feel like wearing a heart-rate monitor, just grab hold of the bar.

The machine can also connect to Wi-Fi, and you can then upload the data onto the iFit app. The machine comes with a one-year subscription to this app. The iFit app has over 16000 workouts ready to be used, virtual trails that are based on actual locations, and live interactive training.
